T: 01274 921941
I am a qualified teacher by trade, but have not worked in the academic field for some years now. I have been a civil servant, an administrator and office manager and I have been involved in public life. In recent years I have managed an MP's office and advice centre dealing with all kinds of problems: financial, personal and business difficulties.
During my long career in the public sector and private business I have developed skills in supporting and listening to people, managing change and analysing both people and statistics! I have the practical skills in IT, words and numbers to help with administration tasks. I have skills in research and training, making presentations and dealing with the media. Most of all I love people and helping them to become the very best they can be, whether personally or in business.
I am now semi-retired and managing a portfolio of work: I continue to work in an office environment but I have also become a "granpreneur" with two internet-based businesses. Both are about supporting people to balance their lives, regain enjoyment and satisfaction at work and at home. Virtual Balance is a way towards personal development, whilst My Paper Work takes care of the nuts and bolts of running a business.
I hope to share my skills with you, to learn something new and to meet some interesting people on the way!
My Paper Work is there to help with the paperwork whilst you do what you do best: whether you are in business, run a community group, or provide a professional service.
We can prepare annual reports, budgets projections or presentations which will be attractive, professional and easily understood. No need for you to be concerned with meeting deadlines, proof-reading, or checking the content: by commisioning our one-off service, you delegate the worry as well as the work.
We can set up systems for your business and show you how to keep them running yourself: databases, mailing lists, standard letters and template documents of all kinds. Or you can retain our services on a once-a-month or once-a-week schedule for newsletters, blogs and websites.
My Paper Work is there to help you in any aspect of administration, secretarial or systems support: we'll do anything with numbers and words that's legal, decent and honest!
