Having someone to discuss ideas and concerns with can be extremely valuable for business owners. A mentor is the perfect person to discuss your business with. They can help you explore new ideas and skills and can give you an informed, independent opinion. Our mentors are trained to help you identify problems and offer solutions that you may not have thought of.

How mentoring can help your business

• Receive confidential guidance from business people.
• Get an independent opinion about important business decisions.
• Evaluate ideas to help your business grow.
• Increase your knowledge of local services.
• Explore new skills that could help your business.
• Develop your confidence and self-esteem.
• Review all areas of your company, or just the parts you are concerned about.
• A mentor and mentee usually meet up once every two months for between one and two hours.

Who are the Bradford Kickstart mentors?

All of the mentors involved in the Bradford Kickstart mentoring programme are volunteers. They give up their time to support new and growing businesses in Bradford District. The mentors come from a diverse range of backgrounds and businesses in West Yorkshire and are experienced business people. Their collective skills would cost a small fortune in consultancy fees.
